TAC-1 Combat Programs
to meet your defensive needs
TAC-1 offers exciting courses in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Edged Weapons. Students will learn from some of the best instructors the industry can offer. With combined 105 years of law enforcement experience, TAC-1 instructors are professional and are at the cutting edge of firearms and weapons training. TAC-1 prides itself in teaching and developing techniques - not through mere tradition, but through stringent research out of real life incidents.
Handgun
TAC-1 handgun courses are separated into three (3) distinctive levels. Starting from an introductory course for beginners providing fundamentals of defensive handgun shooting to advanced tactical shooting.
Carbine & Rifle
Students will develop skills that are necessary to safely and effectively operate and maintain an AR-15 carbine system and to increase accuracy and develop confidence for defensive application.
Shotgun
The Law enforcement has traditionally had shotguns in their inventory of police weapons and they have proven their effectiveness both as a deterrent and a fight stopper. Typically the shotgun is the go-to weapon for increased firepower.
Edged Weapon
This course will introduce students with basic operator skills for the defensive use of the duty knife through force-on-target and force-on-force training.
Mindset
TAC-1 Mindset in conjunction with Col. David Grossman will scientifically address the proper mindset needed to deal with deadly encounter.
Team Tac-1
Qualified TAC-1 members will have an opportunity to compete as a team in IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, Three Gun and Steel Challenges where ever the event is being held. Team members will enjoy the support and endorsements from TAC-1 sponsors.
