Shotgun: Basic Concept & Drills
TAC-1 offers Intro to Defensive Shotgun (SG-1) course to teach students the basics needed to effectively and safely utilize a shotgun for defense/offense. This is a physically demanding firearms training course. Students should be in good physical condition, familiar with their equipment and should have a solid gun handling skill prior to attending this firearms training course. The second half of the class will be shotgun shooting drills applying all of the fundamental learnt in the first half of the class.
This Tactical Shotgun training course takes the student beyond the basics of the shotgun and introduces the student to deployment techniques that are critical when deploying the shotgun for personal defense. Students have the option to use pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns in this course. Shotguns must be 12 gauge and a side receiver ejection port / loading port is strongly recommended.
