Description

TAC-1 Safe Start is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience.  Safe Start is a response to the public’s need for comprehensive gun safety program for new purchasers. This 8 hour introductory course is for the individual who is unfamiliar with firearms safety and operation.  It is designed for those in need of developing safe firearm-handling skills and a foundation of basic shooting skill. Students will learn the basic fundamental of shooting and how to achieve accuracy.

Ammo: 50 Rounds – Available for purchase
Prerequisite:  None

Classroom and Practical Application

• Note taking utensil
• Semi Auto or Revolver Pistol (unloaded)
• NO Live Ammunition (dry practice only)
• Dummy Rounds (5 minimum) – Also Available onsite
• Eye protection (Prefer clear with no color or slight tint)
• Ear protection (both outer and inner protections are recommended)
• Water and snacks (also available on-site for purchase)
• Gun bag/case to store and transport firearm

Live Fire Application

• Eye protection (Prefer clear with no color or some tint is ok)
• Ear protection (both outer and inner protections are recommended)
• Shoes/boots for protection (for mud, dirt, uneven surface)
• Cap or Hat (highly recommended top reduce glare and heat)
• Appropriate attire for weather & flying hot brass
• 50 rounds of ammo
